Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has assured EndSARS protesters that there won’t be any instances of police brutality in the state again.
The governor also urged them to be calm and respect the rights of other residents.
This was after he visited the protesters at the Lekki toll gate which they blocked with their demonstrations.
The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Gboyega Akosile, took to Twitter with pictures from the visit.
He wrote:
“Gov @jidesanwoolu visited the Lekki toll gate to address thousands of #ENDSARS protesters. The Gov identified with and assured them that there won’t be instances of police brutality again in the State. He asked the protesters to be calm and respect the rights of other residents.”
