Sam Smith reveals desire to become mother of children at 35
Uk singer and songwriter, Sam Smith has revealed that he wants to be a mother and have children of his own at the age of 35
The How Do You Sleep singer made this know in a chat on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music show, admitting that it is hard to find a boyfriend.
Smith, 28, who has since declared ‘non-binary’ last year by asking fans to use the pronouns “they/them”, not “he/him”, said he desires to have kids, “I want to be a mummy,” he revealed.
“I want kids,” they added. “I want all of it. I want to be with the kids, watch them grow and be with them every day. I want to be mummy.”
Sadly, though, Sam needs to find a partner first, a search they say is “exhausting…”
Sam admits: “I’m going to work my ass off (and) hopefully find a boyfriend but they’re absolutely nowhere to be found in London. I’ve been searching all over the place. Honestly, I’ve been on the front line now for a good three years. It’s exhausting.”
In an Instagram post back in September 2019 when he came out as non- binary said, “We’re changing a language here!”
“After a lifetime of being at war with my gender I’ve decided to embrace myself for who I am, inside and out.”
The singer added: “I’ve been very nervous about announcing this because I care too much about what people think.”
They wrote: “I understand there will be many mistakes and mis-gendering but all I ask is you please please try. I hope you can see me like I see myself now. Thank you.”
The singer went on to say: “I am at no stage just yet to eloquently speak at length about what it means to be non-binary but I can’t wait for the day that I am. So for now I just want to be VISIBLE and open.”
Sam Smith will release new album ‘Love Goes’ on October 30th.
