The sister of Salome Adaidu, a young woman gruesomely murdered and dismembered in a shocking crime, has revealed chilling details, accusing TikTok user Timileyin Ajayi of carrying out the act with professional precision.
Speaking on Human Rights Radio’s Brekete Family,Salome’s sister questioned whether Ajayi acted alone, describing the manner in which her sister was killed as disturbingly meticulous.
Recounting the horror, she said, “He cut her into pieces. He did a clean cut. He didn’t cut her for the neck to show; he cut off her head neatly and left out the neck. It is only a professional that can do that kind of cut, and as huge as my sister, it is not only one person that did the operation.”
Her testimony also detailed what she and police operatives found at Ajayi’s residence: Salome’s dismembered body parts were reportedly washed and arranged on a bench in the suspect’s room.
Ajayi, who presents himself as a gospel artist on TikTok, allegedly confessed to the killing, citing infidelity as his motive. However, Salome’s family disputes this claim, maintaining they had no prior knowledge of him.
The gruesome crime unraveled when a vigilant motorcyclist became suspicious of Ajayi’s nylon bag, which appeared to be leaking blood.
Upon reaching a public area, the motorcyclist raised an alarm, drawing the attention of bystanders.
When questioned, Ajayi claimed the bag contained cow meat purchased from an abattoir.
However, when he hesitated to open the bag, bystanders forcibly opened it and discovered Salome’s severed head inside.
The crowd reportedly beat Ajayi before police intervened and took him into custody.
Salome’s sister described Ajayi’s home as eerily clean, with faint traces of blood footprints leading from the toilet where the murder allegedly took place.
She also noted the presence of knives, a cutlass, and buckets filled with water, along with the victim’s other body parts, which had been meticulously cleaned and arranged.
“He did a clean butcher work,” she said. “You will see how he washed the meat inside the rubbers.”
Adding to the horror, she revealed that Ajayi had no food in the house, only marijuana and tools used in the crime. This detail cast doubt on his claim of preparing noodles for the victim before the attack.
The sister raised concerns about Ajayi’s possible intentions, pointing to scattered tomatoes in the room and suggesting he may have been preparing to consume human flesh.
“He washed my sister’s other body parts clean and kept them like he was going to be distributing them bit by bit,” she said. “He thought he was going to return after leaving with her head.”
As the case unfolds, Salome’s family and the public demand accountability for this heinous act.
The authorities have yet to release further details regarding the suspect’s accomplices or the exact motive for the crime.
