Manchester United icon, Cristiano Ronaldo, has sent a strong message to his teammates after a hard-fought comeback victory against West Ham on Sunday.
Ronaldo drew United level at the London Stadium five minutes after Saïd Benrahma’s 30th minute opener, his fourth in three matches since returning to the club.
Jesse Lingard’s stunner gave United the lead in the 89th minute but it was David De Gea’s heroics that sealed the victory for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men in added time.
The Spaniard saved Mark Noble’s penalty to ensure the Red Devils return to Old Trafford with all three points.
Reacting after the game, Ronaldo, 36, charged his fellow teammates to remain together, strong and focused.
“Every game in the Premier League is always an amazing fight for the three points.
“Today we got to see a glimpse of all the obstacles that we will find on our way, but we have to keep our mind set on our goals.
“Together! Strong! Focused! Let’s go, Devils!”
