Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace on his return for Juventus in the 4-1 mauling of Italian Serie A side, Spezia on Sunday.
The 35-year-old spent 19 days during his battle with COVID-19 after testing positive while on international duty with Portugal earlier this month.
Juventus started the game without the Portuguese and opened the scoring in the 14th minute through Spanish striker, Álvaro Morata.
The home side, however, pulled one back in 32nd minute Tommaso Pobega who beat Buffon with his second try from a deflection after being picked out by Bartolomei.
Ronaldo was called upon in the second half and wasted no time before finding the back of the net three minutes after.
A through ball from Morata put the former Real Madrid man one-on-one with Spezia’s keeper who he neatly beat to put the Old Lady ahead in the 59th minute.
Frenchman Adrien Rabiot made it three for the away side in the 67th minute, beating Terzi and Provedel find the bottom-left corner.
Ronaldo made it 4-1 for Andre Pirlo’s men in 76th minute when he converted a penalty.
