Robert Pattisson tests positive for COVID-19, production on The Batman paused

Hollywood actor, Robert Pattinson has tested positive for COVID-19 forcing a pause to the production of the movie, The Batman. This is according to an online magazine, Vanity Fair.

Production on the movie which resumed in England was first halted in March due to restrictions brought about by coronavirus pandemic.

To confirm the veracity of the news, Vanity Fair got a statement from Warner Bros which says that “A member of The Batman production tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.”

The statement, however, failed to point out if Pattison who stars as Bruce Wayne/Batman is the individual spoken of.

The online magazine added that a highly placed source revealed that Pattisson is the individual who contracted the virus. The 34-year-old movie star is also popularly known for his role in the movie, Twilight.
