News reaching us from Rivers State indicate that residents of Andoni local government area of the state have embarked on a peaceful protest.

The prostest was propelled by the refusal of the Independent National Electoral Commission refusal to announce the results collated from the polling unit.

The residents who came out enmass to exercise their franchise alleged that the electoral umpire refused to read the collated results becuase they are in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
