Rivers records another COVID-19 case

The Rivers State Government said on Tuesday that it had recorded another coronavirus case.

The patient, according to the State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Princewill Chike, is a 63-year-old retiree, who spent about a month in the United Kingdom and returned to Nigeria through the Lagos International Airport on March 20, 2020.

Chile, who spoke in Port Harcourt, said the Rapid Response Team collect samples from him and the test result was positive.

It was, however, gathered that the index case of coronavirus might be discharged today.

The latest case of coronavirus in the state brings the number of patients to two.
