An ex-Nigerian beauty queen and former miss Ambassador for Peace, Josephine Igoche is dead.
The young model who is also the current face of Leadership Scorecard Nigeria, passed away on Monday in Kaduna after a brief illness, multiple media reports.
Confirming the sad news of her demise in a Facebook post, her brother, Peter Enenche Igoche, said: “when you lose a sister, the pain of it can turn your whole world upside down”.
He shared photos of his sister and showered praises on the late beauty queen. He wrote,
“It will be very difficult to accept the reality of the loss, and it will be even more difficult to go through the pain of the loss.
“When you lose a sister, the pain of it can turn your whole world upside down. You not only lose a sister but a whole support system.
“The hole that they leave in your hearts is a hole that no one could ever fill, and the sister that you lost is a sister that can never be replaced. R.I.P sis. I WILL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE.”
Friends and family also wrote touching tributes in memory of the deceased on their Facebook pages. One Mr. Sunday Dickson wrote,
“If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, we will walk right up to Heaven and bring you back to earth.
“Here on earth, we will all miss you?????? BUT right there in heaven is a welcome song for you. Heaven is the place you deserve. Rest in Peace, Miss ambassador for peace 2015 /2016 queen northcentral.”
The deceased won the Miss Ambassador for Peace North Central in 2016.
