Manchester United and Three Lions legend, Rio Ferdinand, has welcomed his first child with wife, Kate, The Sun reports.
The couple who tied the knot in September 2019 gave birth to a baby boy, Kate’s first and Rio’s fourth, a week to Christmas.
Kate, 29, is currently step mum to Rio’s children Tia, Tate and Lorenz, whose mother Rebecca died of breast cancer in 2015 aged 34.
The former reality TV star and her hubby told fans on social media back in June that they were expecting their first baby together. In September, she told fans they were having a boy after throwing a gender reveal party.
Although the couple is yet to announce her happy news on social media, a friend said: “The birth of their baby is the best Christmas present Kate, Rio and their family could have asked for.
“It’s going to be more magical than ever.
“Mother and baby are doing great and everyone is excited about the latest addition to the family.”
