Barbadian singer, Rihanna Fenty, and her rapper boyfriend, ASAP Rocky, have reportedly welcomed their first child together.

According to reports from TMZ, the couple took delivery of a baby boy last Friday, May 13, 2022, in Los Angeles.

The new child is the first for both Rihanna and her rapper boyfriend.

As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official confirmation from the camp of the 34-year-old Popstar, as well as the 33-year-old “Fashion Killa” artist.

The news of the couple’s pregnancy had caught fans by surprise back in January when she made the announcement with a series of baby bump photos on Instagram.

Other than making headlines with her baby bump, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, organisers of the Met Gala, honoured her with a marble statue in May despite missing the 2022 Met Gala.

Rihanna’s marble statue is a replica of her baby bump shoot which was used for the cover of Vogue magazine’s tribute to the actress in its May edition.

There have also been controversies around the couple during the pregnancy, including the arrest of ASAP Rocky by the Los Angeles Police Department in connection with a shooting that occurred in November 2021.

But despite the arrest of ASAP Rocky, born Rakim Meyers, has shown support for her man, as she was spotted during one of his shows, which happened after the arrest.

The couple was also rumoured to have broken up back in April after the rapper was allegedly caught cheating on Rihanna with her shoe designer, Amina Muaddi.

However, the rumour was quickly quelled by Mauddi, days before the lovebirds were spotted together at a Barbados airport.

Meanwhile, Rihanna has also announced that she will launch a skincare brand in Nigeria, and other African countries.
