Pop star Rihanna has welcomed her third child with partner A$AP Rocky. The singer announced the arrival of her baby girl, Rocki Irish Mayers, on September 13.
Rihanna shared the news in an Instagram post that included a photo of her cradling her daughter, as well as another showing a pair of pink boxing gloves. In the post, she wrote, “Rocki Irish Mayers Sept 13 2025 🎀,” while tagging Rocky.
The baby’s name is a play on her father’s stage name, with just one letter changed. Rocki joins the couple’s two sons, RZA, born in 2022, and Riot, born in 2023.
The couple first revealed they were expecting their third child at the 2025 Met Gala, where Rihanna debuted her baby bump on the red carpet.
Rihanna, 37, has spoken in the past about her journey into motherhood. In a 2022 interview with Vogue, she said, “I always thought it would be marriage first, then a baby, but who the f— says it has to be that way. I’m certainly not gonna let that get in the way of me being a mom.”
Fans celebrated the news online, with Rihanna’s Instagram post gathering over five million likes within two hours.
The announcement also comes weeks after Rihanna marked 20 years since the release of her first album. While many congratulated her, others called for new music, as it has been nearly a decade since her last project, Anti.
