Nigerian actors and some concerned fans have begun to pay tribute to late Nollywood actor, Gbenga Akintunde, a.k.a. `Burger, who passed on after a brief illness.
Many of his friends shared emotional tributes on their Instagram pages to mourn him after the shocking news of his death made the rounds on the internet.
Recall that his colleague, Kunle Afod, revealed that Burger died on Thursday Jan.3, after visiting the hospital to complain of malaria.
Some of the late Akintunde’s colleagues and friends, who had worked closely with him like Toyin Adewale, Dejo Tunfulu and Mistura Asunramu showered encomium on the late actor.
Until his death, he was the Lagos State Chairman of the Sustainable National Party.
However, an official statement has not been released by his family.
