A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has given a reason why those who believe that humans got infected with COVID-19 from animals should also believe in Jesus Christ.

Taking to Twitter, Reno Omokri said that if they believe that an animal’s blood could destroy humans, then they ought to believe in the saving blood of Jesus.

“If you believe #COVID19 entered the world through an animal’s blood, and from there jumped to humans, why do you have difficulty believing that the Blood of Christ can save humanity? If animal blood can destroy, why can’t Christ’s Blood restore?,” he tweeted.

He added: “You claim to be too ‘woke’ to believe in God. Yet, you believe accounts of viruses, like #COVID19, that originate from animals and jump to humans. Who deceived Eve? Was it not an animal (serpent). Listen on Judgment Day, you will have NO EXCUSE!”
