Nigerian music stars Rema and Seun Kuti are set to shine at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2025.

Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, will make his first appearance at the festival, joining other African artists, including Ghanaian singer Amaarae and South Africa’s Tyla.

Seun Kuti, an Afrobeat star and son of legendary musician Fela Kuti, will be returning to the festival, having been the first Nigerian artist to perform there in 2012.

Coachella, often called the world’s biggest music and arts festival, is held yearly in California, USA, attracting over 125,000 attendees. It has become a global stage for artists across genres.

The 2025 event will take place over two weekends, April 11-13 and April 18-20, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Coachella has previously featured Nigerian stars like Mr. Eazi and Burna Boy in 2019, Ckay in 2022, and Tems earlier this year.
