Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, during his homecoming concert at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin gifted two dictated fans N2 million each.
These persons had previously gifted Rema a detailed artwork of his likeness.
One of the most memorable moments of the night was when Rema invited Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy on stage. There had been rumors of a rift between the two, but Rema put those to rest by respectfully bowing to Don Jazzy and inviting him to join the celebration.
Rema was joined by other stars from the Mavin family, including Crayon, Magixx, and Ladipoe, as well as friends like Shallipopi and Odumodublvck.
Rema, known for his hit song “Calm Down,” expressed his excitement over the warm welcome he received when he arrived in Edo ahead of the concert.

Earlier this week, Rema joined Governor Obaseki at the groundbreaking ceremony for Edo Arena, where he laid the first block.
The new arena, to be named ‘Rema’s Dome,’ is located at the former Garrick Memorial School Ground on Ekehuan Road in Benin City.
The event was also attended by Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, and Uyi Oduwa Malaka, the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, Culture, and Diaspora Affairs, along with other top government officials.
Expressing gratitude, Rema said, “I am happy to be here. I thank Edo people for their prayers and support. I am proud of the State, especially the growth recorded so far. I am proud of the togetherness, passion, and zeal to make it greater.”
Commending the governor’s efforts, Rema added, “I am proud of the youths and ready to take part in anything that will give a drive to the youths, strengthen and motivate them. This is a blessing and I will see to it that this project is finished well.”
