Amid serious allegations made by her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, a controversial video of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has resurfaced online, reigniting public debate and scrutiny.
In response to a viral video of Regina crying and accusing him of domestic violence, Nwoko alleged that the actress was under the influence of substances and required rehabilitation.
Just hours after his statement, an old video of the actress emerged on social media, showing her smoking heavily.
In the video, the mother of two is seen seated in a group, puffing from what appears to be various substances while sipping an alcoholic beverage.
The footage also features a man sitting closely beside Regina, seemingly guiding her on what to smoke. He is seen whispering to her at intervals, though his exact words remain inaudible.
A blogger who shared the clip alleged that the man beside her is a prominent Nigerian politician known for his influence in his constituency.
He was accused of negatively influencing Regina’s behaviour, drawing backlash from fans who held him partly responsible for her current situation.
This is not the first time Regina Daniels has faced criticism for similar incidents.
Just weeks ago, another video of her smoking in the presence of her siblings also went viral, further fueling public concern over her wellbeing and lifestyle choices.
