Regina Daniels’ brother, Samuel Ojeogwu, better known as Sammy West, has been granted bail of N5 million after spending several days in detention.
Sammy was granted bail on Monday, November 10, 2025, following his arrest in Lagos and transfer to Suleja Prison after being remanded by a Dutse Magistrate Court on Thursday.
His elder brother, Sweezzy, celebrated the news on Instagram, writing, “Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you.”
Sammy’s arrest came amid a public fallout involving his sister, actress Regina Daniels, and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Nwoko had earlier shared videos accusing Sammy of harassing his children and domestic staff while he was away. The senator said Sammy’s actions were not a family misunderstanding but a serious security concern.
The Federal Capital Territory Police Command confirmed that Sammy had been charged with criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, and theft before a court in Abuja.
