Afrobeats singer Reekado Banks has expressed frustration over an unnamed individual in the entertainment industry whom he accused of sabotaging young talents.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the singer described the mystery figure as either “absolutely clueless or plain demonic.” He claimed that many rising stars had fallen into this person’s hands, leading to their careers being slowed down or completely frustrated.
Reekado Banks wrote, “One day, I’ll take an interview to talk about someone in the corners of the entertainment industry, who’s either absolutely CLUELESS or plain DEMONIC.”
He further stated that this individual convinces young talents to agree to policies that ultimately hinder their progress or force them out of the industry.
Following his post, many fans speculated that Reekado Banks was referring to Don Jazzy, the boss of his former record label, Mavins Records. However, he quickly dismissed these assumptions.
He wrote, “It may not be obvious to you all, but I’m definitely not referring to Baba J [Don Jazzy]. Ejo lol, pls n thanks.”
While he did not reveal the identity of the person he was talking about, the singer hinted that he would expose the individual in an interview soon.
His statement has sparked conversations among music lovers, with many eager to hear more details about the alleged industry saboteur.
