Nigerian singer Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, popularly known as Reekado Banks, has responded strongly to a social media troll who mocked him for attending church, insinuating that his decision was tied to a decline in his music career.
The exchange began after content creator Kesari shared a post on Instagram expressing a desire to grow spiritually, though uncertain whether to pursue Christianity or Islam.
In the comments, Reekado Banks encouraged him to join his church, offering support for his spiritual journey.
Shortly afterward, a video emerged online showing Reekado Banks and Kesari worshipping together in church.
The clip sparked a wave of reactions from fans and followers—many of whom appreciated the public display of faith.
However, one comment stood out and drew controversy: “When they fail at music, they start going to church.”
Refusing to stay silent, the former Mavin Records artist fired back in a video response posted on his page. He addressed the negative comment directly, stating:
“Fckkk that nigga whose comment I saw that made me feel down today. My friend called me and told me to delete it. Fck you!”
The singer’s unapologetic reaction has since stirred conversations on social media about fame, faith, and the pressures of public life.
