A music minister at one of the parishes of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Abuja, Michael Arowosaiye, has allegedly committed suicide.
Aside from being a minister in the Redeemed church, Michael was also a popular gospel singer who ministered at several youth programmes at churches in Abuja.
The deceased allegedly hanged himself with his belt.
According to his friend, the incident happened around 4pm on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Sunnyvale Estate.
Michael, who recently ministered during a Youth Praise event at the church, reportedly became depressed over his accommodation issues before taking the drastic step.
In one of his posts on Facebook, Michael had advised youths to be prayerful and not give in to the devil seeking to devour them as he invited them to attend his music concert.
In another recent post on his Facebook page, he was seen posing with popular preacher Bishop Francis Wale Oke.
