Real Madrid gives update on Eden Hazard injury

Real Madrid have given an update on the injury sustained by Eden Harzard in the game against Alves on Saturday.

The Belgian limped off the field after 30 minutes of play in the game that ended 2-1 in favour of the visitorss.

Giving an update, Madrid said that Hazard has been diagnosed with an injury in the rectus femoris muscle of his right leg.

A statement on its official website reads: “Following tests carried out today on our player, Eden Hazard, by Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury in the rectus femoris muscle of his right leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed.”
