Real Madrid beat Atalanta to lift UEFA Super Cup

Kylian Mbappé had a perfect debut for Real Madrid, scoring a goal in their 2-0 victory over Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday.

Playing in the famous white jersey for the first time, Mbappé scored his debut goal in the 68th minute at the National Stadium in Warsaw.

He received a pass from Jude Bellingham and fired a shot into the top corner to seal the win.

Mbappé celebrated by crossing his arms over his chest, a signature move that delighted fans and teammates alike. “It feels amazing to score and win in my first match,” Mbappé said after the game. “I’m grateful to be part of such a great team.”

Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo, who also played a key role in the match, congratulated Mbappé on his goal. “We’re excited to have Kylian with us,” Vinícius said. “His presence is already making a difference.”

Federico Valverde opened the scoring for Madrid in the 59th minute, tapping in a cross from Vinícius. This victory marks Real Madrid’s sixth win in the Super Cup, an annual match between the Champions League winners and the Europa League champions.
