Read what happened to 4-year-old boy, two other children after 4am fire outbreak
Tragedy struck early Wednesday morning as a four-year-old boy lost his life in a house fire.
The incident happened in a house in Alltwen, near Pontardawe, South Wales.
It was gathered that the youngster was among several occupants of the house when the blaze broke out at 1.40am on Wednesday.
It has been reported that two other children and their mother escaped the incident.
South Wales Police said the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene.
