Latest report informs that some unknown gunmen attacked residents of Ibafo in Ogun State this week raping some of the women in the presence of their husbands.
According to Punch report, the attack took place at Gideon village, Oke Cele and Asiwaju communities in Ibafo with no fewer than two landlords kidnapped and three women raped during the attack.
It was learnt that the gunmen also took away properties worth millions of naira.
The militants demanded N50m for the release of a landlord in Gideon village, identified only as Joel, who was abducted in his house, the report added.
Apart from Joel, the militants also picked another landlord identified as Lucas.
Lucas was said to have been abducted in his car and driven to Ebute, where the car was dumped.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, SP Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the kidnap when contacted.
