Reactions as Cardi B comments on Mercy Eke’s AMVCA outfit

Grammy award-winning rap artiste and songwriter, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, better known as Cardi B, has shown her appreciation for 2019 Big Brother Nigeria winner, Mercy Eke, through a remarkable fashion tribute.

Eke had taken inspiration from one of Cardi B’s iconic outfits from a 2020 video, creating her own version for the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

While popular actress, Osas Ighodaro claimed the Best Dressed award at the AMVCA, Mercy Eke’s fashion choice didn’t go unnoticed.

The reality TV star turned heads and gained accolades for her stunning ensemble.

However, the pinnacle of recognition came when Cardi B herself reposted a picture of Mercy’s tribute outfit on her Instagram story.

Overwhelmed by the endorsement, Mercy took to social media to express her excitement, writing, “Whoooshh waking up to my idol reposting my picture, thank you my queen @iamcardib. I will frame this and hang it in my room period.”
