Colonel Sambo Dasuki led a team of four Police men — Abubakar Dangiwa Umar, Lawan Gwadabe, Abdulmumuni Aminu — to arrest General Muhammadu Buhari in August 26th 1985.
Buhari’s government was then toppled, while he was imprisoned. General Ibrahim Babangida took over power from him.
