Published

Renowned American rapper and actor Snoop Dogg, known for his association with heavy marijuana use, has declared his intention to give up smoking after a family discussion.

The rapper, born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, took to Instagram to share the unexpected decision on Thursday.

The post reads, “After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”

While many of his followers find it hard to believe, Snoop Dogg, at 52, seems determined to make this significant lifestyle change.

Over the years, he has been a prominent figure in popular culture, often associated with his affinity for marijuana.

In a previous claim, it was suggested that the rapper had someone rolling between 75-150 joints for him daily, a statement he later refuted.

Moreover, in March of this year, Snoop Dogg openly admitted to moderating his weed intake after becoming a grandfather.

Known for his influence in the cannabis community, Snoop Dogg launched Merry Jane in 2015.
