A 50-year-old caretaker, identified as Sani, has landed in prison custody for allegedly raping his neighbour’s three years old daughter to death in Katsina State.
The sad incident occurred on October 12, 2017 in Funtua Local Government Area of the state.
The accused allegedly lured the toddler to a nearby uncompleted building, closed her mouth and raped her.
The toddler’s father, Ibrahim Abdullahi, who resides in Jabiri Quarters, Funtua, reported the matter at the Central Police Station.
Sani was arrested and charged to court.
