Manchester United boss, Ralf Rangnick and captain, Harry Maguire have lamented the club’s draw against Burnley at the Turf Moore on Tuesday night.

The Red Devils scored three goals which would have put the game to bed in the first half but two were ruled out for an offside and a foul.

Jay Rodriguez drew the hosts level in the second half, allowing both sides to share the spoils as Man Utd drop to fifth following West Ham

“We scored three goals! That is different from Friday. The second one that was disallowed, the linesman flagged foul but 10 seconds after that incident. This was a very soft decision I must say,” Rangnick said.

“We scored three goals in the first half, so I couldn’t blame the team for not having a killer instinct in the first half,” he said.

Maguire added: “I think he gave it offside. He said it wasn’t a foul. Interfering with play, I don’t know. I don’t think Rodriguez would have affected the goal.

“I think the other one for Paul Pogba’s judged to have fouled. It was definitely not a foul.”

Ragnick’s men will have to prepare for Southampton on Saturday as their quest for a Champions League finish continues.
