Racism: Blacks seperated from whites at SA polling unit [Video]
As South Africa’s citizens come out en masse to vote in the country’s sixth democratic election, the 2019 election, some voters in Wellington Capetown, a region in the country, continue to experience racism.
Voters have taken to social media, Twitter to be precise, to share videos showing that black voters are not allowed to be on the same queue as whites in the Wellington Capetown polling station.
Black citizens are using this medium to create awareness that racism still exists in the country. The whites are seen queuing on the right side of the station while the whites queue on the left side. This way, the voting is done in turns.
