Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 93rd birthday on April 21, 2019, and just two weeks later, she welcomed the arrival of her eighth great-grandchild.
Sussex Royal not only shared a photo of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, 97, meeting the newest member of the royal family but also revealed the royal babyโs name: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
At this point, Archie has not been given a royal title, therefore, he would be known as Master Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
Meghan Markleโs mother, Doria Ragland was also in the photo.
Sussex Royal shared a photo of the fabulous moment along with the following comment on Instagram,
โThe Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor This afternoon Their Royal Highnesses introduced Her Majesty The Queen to her eighth great-grandchild at Windsor Castle. The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchessโ mother were also present for this special occasion.โ
Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, celebrates his 98th birthday on June 10 and many are marvelling at Queen Elizabethโs and his longevity and ability to enjoy such precious moments with their loved ones.
