Qatar announced late Tuesday that its authorities had dismantled two operational cells tied to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps within its borders.

According to the state-run Qatar News Agency, state security units arrested 10 suspects after carrying out extensive surveillance operations.

The report indicated that seven of the suspects were assigned to espionage missions aimed at collecting intelligence on “vital and military facilities” in the country.

The remaining three suspects were reportedly trained in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles and tasked with executing sabotage operations.

Authorities also confiscated locations and coordinates of sensitive facilities, along with various communication devices and technological equipment.

Citizens were urged to stay alert and report any suspicious behavior to the relevant authorities.

The arrests come amid heightened tensions in the region following large-scale attacks on Iran by the US and Israel on Saturday, which reportedly killed nearly 800 individuals, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and senior military officials.

In response, Iran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel as well as Gulf nations that host US military assets.
