The Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday morning that the Qatar Armed Forces successfully intercepted a missile attack aimed at the Qatar.
In a separate statement, the Ministry of Interior said the temporary precautionary evacuations carried out across parts of the country were limited to residents in specific locations who received alerts through the National Alert System.
According to the ministry, authorities have arranged safe alternative accommodation for individuals who were evacuated from the affected areas.
It added that some residents also chose to move voluntarily to safer locations while waiting for the security situation to stabilise.
The ministry further advised the public to avoid approaching any unidentified objects or debris. Residents were warned not to touch or attempt to move such items and were urged to report them immediately so that the appropriate authorities can handle them in line with established safety procedures.
Meanwhile, Iran has continued launching missile and drone attacks targeting several Arab countries, including Qatar, leading to casualties, injuries and damage to civilian infrastructure.
