The Police Service Commission has announced that its online portal for the recruitment of 50,000 police constables will open on December 15.

According to the commission, the portal will remain active until January 25, 2026.

The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the PSC on Thursday.

“The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), is pleased to announce the commencement of recruitment of Fifty Thousand (50,000) police constables into the Nigeria Police Force, as directed by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,” said the statement.

The PSC noted that the new recruitment drive aligns with the presidential directive aimed at improving community policing and boosting national security.
