The founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, has announced that he will stop selling his miracle water and soap.
This decision comes after strong criticism from social media activist, VeryDarkMan, who questioned the legitimacy of the miracle products and accused the prophet of exploiting his followers’ faith.
VeryDarkMan publicly challenged Prophet Fufeyin, leading to a heated confrontation that gained widespread attention online. The debate sparked discussions about the commercialization of religious items.
In a surprising move, Prophet Fufeyin declared during a recent church service that the sale of his miracle water and soap would be discontinued. He also issued a stern warning against anyone who attempts to sell these items.
In a video of one of his sermons, Prophet Fufeyin stated, “The spiritual items are not for sale, and anyone selling these items out there, I will lay a curse on them.”
The controversy surrounding the prophet included accusations of selling other religious items at high prices, such as cash flow ATM cards for $20 and “I Must Carry My Samuel” apples for $12 (N20,000).
VeryDarkMan also called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Nigeria Police Force National Cyber Crime Center to investigate Prophet Fufeyin.
He accused the cleric of fraud and advised that the products should have a National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control identification number.
Recently, there were claims that Prophet Fufeyin had also withdrawn a N1 billion lawsuit against VeryDarkMan.
