If you think you have seen it all, you’re definitely wrong because a group of women who are contracted to cry at people’s wake is trending on the internet.

The group, who are known as The Funeral Contractors Association, will cry at strangers wake in exchange for money.

In the video which has since gone viral, the women from Ghana, led by one Ami Dokli, were seen wailing at an unknown person’s funeral.

The women also wore black items of clothing with their faces bare of any form of makeup to fit in perfectly.

The group are all widows and started the service when they needed to make some cash. The fee they charge is dependent on how large the funeral is.

That means that if you’re short of sympathizers, they would fill up the gap conveniently.

The women’s story was documented by BBC video journalist, Sulley Lansah.
