Prof. Femi Odekunle’s death, a huge loss, says Atiku Abubakar
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has condoled with the family of late Prof. Femi Odekunle, describing his death as a huge loss.
Recall that the deceased, 77, passed away on Tuesday at the COVID-19 Isolation Center in Gwagwalada, Abuja.
In a condolence message posted in his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday, Atiku commiserated with the people of Osun State of the death of the first Nigerian Professor of criminology.
He prayed that God bears the family strength to bear the loss.
Atiku’s tweet read:
“The death of Professor Femi Odekunle is a huge loss. He was a fine gentleman with exceptional academic brilliance.
“I condole with his family and friends, especially the intellectual community, the government and people of Osun State.
“I pray that the Almighty God shall accept his soul and grant his family the fortitude to bear the loss.”
