President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday, August 8, 2016, jet out of the country to D’jamena in Chad Republic with Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State.
President Buhari will be joining other Heads of State and Government for the inauguration ceremony of President Idriss Deby Itno of Chad won the presidential elections in his country in April.
This was announced on Sunday by Mr Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity.
The special adviser added that the President’s delegation will also include Sen. Baba Kaka Garba, Hon. Mohammed Tahir Monguno, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (rtd).
It was learnt that Buhari and his delegation will return to Abuja after the inauguration.
