President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, departed Abuja to United Kingdom on a 10-day vacation.
This was made known in the pictures shared on the Facebook page of the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
The President before his departure announced on his official Twitter handle that he was traveling to the UK on a short leave as part of his annual vacation. He said he will return for work on February 6.
President Buhari said Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will act as President in his absence as well as chair the 2nd Presidential Business Forum slated for next week. He assured that work will continue on Econ Recovery and Growth Plan.
Meanwhile, President Buhari met with the Security Chiefs before leaving, and during the meeting, he assured that his administration will continue to work to fulfill its promise to confront all security challenges head-on.
