Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari has joined other world leaders in congratulating the United States presidential election winner, Donald Trump.
Buhari issued his congratulatory message on Wednesday following the examples of other world leaders like Vladimir Putin of Russia, Theresa May of Britain and so on.
“On behalf of the Govt and people of Nigeria, I congratulate President-elect @realDonaldTrump on his victory in the US presidential election,” Buhari said via his verified social media handles.
“I look forward to working together with President-elect Trump to build on and strengthen relations between Nigeria & the USA.”
