Covid-19: Pray for Akeredolu, PDP aspirant, Okunomo urges Nigerians
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant in Ondo, Banji Okunomo, has called for prayers for Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
The governor tested positive for coronavirus early this week.
In a statement on Thursday, Okunomo wished Akeredolu speedy recovery.
He stressed that COVID-19 was real and urged Nigerians to adhere strictly to the NCDC guidelines of NCDC and obey all precautionary measures.
The aspirant said notwithstanding political affiliations, “I sympathise with Akeredolu”.

He prayed for God’s healing and urged the people “to pray fervently for the governor’s quick recovery”.
Okunomo advised those that had contact with him to go for a test and self-isolate.
“COVID-19 is not a death sentence, if detected early and treated on time,” Okunomo added.
