Poverty is a mental phenomenon, says Nollywood actor, Femi Jacobs
Nollywood actor and singer, Femi Jacobs has on Tuesday stated that poverty is a mental phenomenon.
Speaking to his 46.9K Followers via his verified Twitter handle on Tuesday, the Taxi Driver: Oko Asewo actor advised them not to raise their taste at the sight of a little increase.
Jacobs who also featured in the 2015 four-cast movie, The Visit, told his followers that poverty is more than a status but also a culture, sighting that those who tried to escape poverty to quickly run the risk of preserving it.
“Those who try to escape a poor past too quickly run the risk of perpetuating it. Do not raise your taste at the first sighting of a little increase. Poverty is not just a material but also a mental phenomenon, it’s not just a status but also a culture,” the All Shades of Wrong actor tweetd.
