Cristiano Ronaldo has wowed football fans in a friendly game between Portugal and Spain on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old made a brilliant pass to Renato Sanchez who followed up with an effort from outside the box which rattled the crossbar.

Ronaldo also had an effort which hit the woodwork in the game that ended goaless.

Reacting to the Juventus star’s effort, one fan wrote:

“Spectacular pass by Cristiano Ronaldo. If he manages to pass like that just being a ‘training product’ and ‘without natural talent’, then natural talent is overrated ….”

A second fan said:

“What a phenomenal pass by Cristiano Ronaldo. Xavi-esque pass with the outside of his foot, and people try spread the myth he’s not a great passer.”

A third hailed the pass from the five-time Ballon d’Or winner:

“The pass of a genius.”
