Controversial Nigerian street-hop artist Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has sparked criticism after making a mocking remark about Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo’s recent revelation regarding the end of her marriage.
Biola, who is also known for hosting the Talk To B podcast where she interviews fellow celebrities, surprised her followers on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, by announcing that she and her husband had separated in April 2024.
The actress made the disclosure in an Instagram post marking her ex-husband’s birthday, where she emphasized that the two had agreed to co-parent their son in a mature and peaceful manner.
“Yes, you heard me right! My husband and I have been separated since April last year, but we have decided to maturely and peacefully co-parent our dear son, who means everything to us,” she wrote.
Despite the calm and respectful tone of her announcement, Portable appeared to take a swipe at her in a video that has since gone viral on Instagram.
In the video, the Zazzu singer said, “You’re divorced, but you’re very good at interviewing other people’s wives. So your home is not even settled. This life is just a drama.”
Biola and her ex-husband had gotten married in April 2021 after dating for less than six months. She previously shared in a YouTube video that they chose to marry quickly due to their shared values.
