Nigerian street-pop artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has mended fences with his fellow entertainer Habeeb Hamzat, also known as Peller.
A video making rounds online captured the moment Portable spoke about their reconciliation, expressing that he had moved past their differences.
Previously, Peller had revealed that he supported Portable early in his career, helping him gain traction with one million streams on Spotify.
However, after Portable rose to fame, he reportedly cut ties by blocking Peller.
Peller noted that he had only reciprocated Portable’s support, expressing disappointment over how things unfolded.
During a live video, footballer Boniface, who was present at the time, amusingly covered his face to avoid being drawn into the heated exchange.
The moment quickly went viral and stirred humorous reactions across social media platforms.
The disagreement escalated into a public spat, with both parties exchanging words online.
The back-and-forth included personal jabs and references to each other’s families, capturing widespread attention. Despite the intense online drama, the two eventually reached an understanding.
In a recent video, Portable declared that he had forgiven Peller and had lifted the block on him.
He clarified that his anger stemmed from Peller’s comment regarding a post he made about ‘Ifa’, a traditional religious practice. “A child will grow,” Portable remarked, signaling that he had moved on from the conflict.
