Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has announced an increase in his appearance fees, now charging N20 million per show.

The controversial artist, who was recently released on bail after a clash with Ogun State government officials, shared the update with his fans through his official social media page on Monday.

Portable’s recent troubles began when officials from the Ota Zonal Planning Office of the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development sealed his unfinished building and hotel in Sango-Ota.

The situation reportedly led to a confrontation, and some of the singer’s associates were later arraigned in court for allegedly assaulting the officials.

Following his release, Portable surprised fans by revealing his new performance rate. “To book me now, it’s N20 million per show,” he announced online.
