Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again stirred reactions online after flaunting his collection of vehicles.
The artist shared photos of two large trucks parked on a road, striking a pose between them while making a bold proclamation in the caption.
In his post, Portable referred to himself as the “Donald Trump Sango,” merging the name of the American billionaire and former president with that of the Yoruba god of thunder, suggesting power, wealth, and authority.
The post comes amid his ongoing public spat with social media activist VeryDarkMan, a feud that has escalated over the past weeks.
Recall that tensions between the two began after Portable criticized VDM for persistently attacking President Bola Tinubu over the country’s economic crisis. The singer accused the activist of exploiting national issues for social media clout.
The back-and-forth soon turned musical, with both parties releasing diss tracks. Portable accused VDM of leveraging the tragic death of singer Mohbad for attention, pointing out that despite all the outrage, justice had yet to be served.
VDM responded with a diss track titled “Ole”—a Yoruba word meaning “thief”—mocking Portable over past allegations of theft. He accompanied the song with an old video from 2020, which showed Portable being assaulted by a mob for allegedly stealing a phone and a tricycle.
In retaliation, Portable dug up old videos of the activist, attempting to tarnish his image by resurfacing clips of VDM in private moments.
Despite the controversy, Portable appears unfazed, continuing to boast about his success while using social media as a stage for his flamboyant and provocative persona.
