Ekiti decides: APC, SDP leaders laud INEC
All Progressives Congress and Social Democratic Party leaders in Ado Ekiti on Saturday praised the Independent National Electoral Commission on the conduct of the election so far.
An APC leader, Adedipe Sulaiman, said officials turned up on time.
“Voting has been peaceful. We are allowing the elderly and the sick to vote first,” he said, according to The Nation.
SDP chieftain, Ajayi Ogobolu, who is also an agent in 008 at Ado Grammar School, urged INEC to ensure a free and fair election.
“I’ve been seeing suspicious movements around and likely voter inducement, but I am still watching.
“The exercise has been peaceful so far,” he said.
