Anambra Election: Cleric urges Catholic priests to vote

A Catholic parish head, Reverend Father Oliver Onyema, has called on priests serving in Anambra churches, especially in Ihiala Local Government Area, to troop out and vote in the State governorship election.

Onyema disclosed this to our correspondent after he finished casting his vote at Mbosi Ward 20 on Tuesday.

The cleric said that he travelled from Amichi in Nnewi South LGA where he serves as a priest to Mbosi his home town to exercise his franchise.

He said, ” On Saturday, I was here but things didn’t work quite well, but today everything went well. I have voted and I’m going back to my parish in Amichi.
